Helen Aurelius-Haddock

Helen Aurelius Haddock has lived in the Poitou Charentes for over ten years. During this time she has renovated houses, sent her children to school and university, worked as an English teacher, cooked, preserved and tended her garden. She has also solved more bureaucratic nightmares for herself and those she knows that she cares to remember, and is still hard at it. Blogging about her life and family in this idyllic part of France, Helen is now writing her first book based on these experiences. If published, she is confident none of her friends and family will ever speak to her again.
