Ferry operator LD Lines has confirmed its arrival into the Dover Straits cross channel ferry market will commence from 12 February 2009 bringing forward the introduction of its new Dover - Boulogne service and a new route between Dover and Dieppe.
Ryanair, Europe's largest low fares airline, have launched three new routes from Bristol to Bergerac (Dordogne), Beziers (Languedoc) and Pau (Pyrenees Atlantique). Flights start in May, with booking already available. Ryanair's 20th European base in has just started operating in Bristol, and is set to deliver 1 million passengers on 20 low fare routes from the airport in the coming year.
