| If you like remote, this will suit you. In the south of the Double Forest, between Montpon and Sainte-Foy, Philippe and Marie-Ange Caignard operate two self-contained gîtes and three chambres d'hôte for bed and breakfast accommodation at the end of a road that runs out in the farm next door. The house is deceptive in appearance, having been constructed by Philippe some five years ago out of old materials. The three chambres d'hôte on the ground floor each have their own bathroom and open onto the garden at the rear of the property. There is an attractive swimming-pool in the grounds, between the house and the gîtes. The property is on high ground, with pleasant views of the surrounding countryside.
