Kitchen facilities
Each kitchen /diner has a full sized gas cooker, fridge freezer, microwave, washing machine, electric kettle, coffee maker, toaster. Ample crockery and cutlery. Iron and ironing board.

External facilities
Each cottage has its own table, chairs, parasol, BBQ., large terrace. Very large walled gardens, secure for children. Trees for shade.

Special features
The swimming pool is fully enclosed, and complies with French safety and hygene regulations. Safety gate. Sun loungers for every one. Roman steps for easy access to pool, especially for children and the less mobile. Plenty of room for children to play. Quiet shadey places to relax.

Local activities
Many local markets and fairs. Local wine co operative only five minutes away, with visits and tastings, and a free cognac glass, with or without purchases. All the distilleries, both in Cognac, and locally, offer tastings and visits. The Roman occupation two thoussand years ago, is still evident. All local towns and villages offer something different all summer long - from jaz and music festivals, theatre, barbeques, pig roasts, antique fairs, to the humble car boot sale.

Location
Quiet rural village location, amid vines and sunflowers. Ten minutes north of Cognac. Central location for beaches, water sports, boating, horse riding, golf, karting, fishing. Easy biking country. Historical Angouleme, with its summer festivals.Medieval St. Jean d'Angely. Saintes with Roman ampitheatre. Cognac with distilleries. All have large rivers with boat trips. Served by La Rochelle, Bordeaux, Limoges, Poitiers, Bergerac airports. Easy access from motorway. Quiet roads.

Each living room has three piece suite, coffee table, Satelite English television. DVD player. Exposed beams and stone.

All bedrooms have double, twin or single beds. No bunks or sofa - beds. Drawers, wardrobe space, fans. Each cottage has a hair drier
