The kitchen is modern and provides a full size oven, a 2 ring hob, and fridge.

External facilities
The Mazot is at the end of a private road, and there is ample parking immediately outside the front door so there are no stairs to climb after a hard days skiing and no carrying heavy luggage long distances! There is a secure store for skis, bikes or luggage outside the building. The Mazot faces MT Blanc and there is a small balcony where you can relax and enjoy the view.

Local activities
Chamonix is a mountain paradise and all the mountain sports are available......ski-ing, climbing, paragliding, hiking, mountain biking, ice skating. In summer there is a graet golf course, canyoning, rafting. fishing. There is a sports centre with swimming pools, ice rink, climbing wall and sauna/hamman.

Chamonix is a lively town with plenty of bars and restaureants, interesting shops, museums, cinema, and a ten pin bowling alley.

Annecy and Geneva and Martigny are all within an hours drive, and Italy is just through the Mt Blanc tunnel.

Location
Chamonix is the ultimate mountain playground. 60 miles from Geneva's international airport and easily accessible by motorway Chamonix has embraced tourists and visitors for over 200 years. Chamonix is a busy resort both summer and winter, December to April, winter sports dominate; June to September, it's walking, climbing and more recently mountain biking and parapenting that are the draw. Out of season, Chamonix is quiet and provides an ideal place to relax.

The accommodation comprises kitchen, a lounge area, shower-room and mezzanine sleeping area. The lounge has a sofa bed and with the mezzanine bed "Le Mazot" can accommodate up to four people, "cosy style". We've provided a combined TV Video plus a DVD player. There is ample storage space for in cupboards and wardrobes.

The studio is ideal for 2 people, either a couple having the choice of the mezzanine sleeping area with double bed or sofa bed, or 2 friends sleeping one upstairs and one down. We have had plenty of groups of 4 enjoy their stay in the Mazot, but it is cosy for 4 adults. We can provide a travel cot and high chair if required
