Kitchen facilities
Fully equipped kitchen that has everything one needs to live and eat in the cottage. The cooker is electric and gaz, there is also a washing machine. An iron, ironing board and clothes horse is also provided.

External facilities
There is a garden across from the cottage which will have a barbeque and garden furniture.

Special features
Adjoing the cottage is Maison des Roses (Rose House) that can be hired along with the cottage making it ideal for families to share as it has an integral door but yet can be independent of each other.

When hired together it can accomodate 12 people. The house is very spacious with two bedrooms, large lounge, kitchen, utility room, and ornate oak spindle staircase which has an interconnecting door to the cottage. Prices together range from £580-£750.

Parking is roadside outside the house or just below and this is a very quiet road so there is always space for cars.

The cottage can be let out over winter as a long let at £100 per week plus utility bills.

Local activities
There is a riding school on the outskirts of the village where you can ride through the woods and quiet roads and also tennis courts, football field and an international motor cross track.

The area is ideal for golfing, fishing and walking or sightseeing. There is a indoor and outdoor new swimming pool 5 mins drive away.

St. Junien is a beautiful market town and is only 10 mins drive from the cottage. Confolens is a lovely town where an annual dance festival is held where dance groups from all over the world take part, this takes part second week in August and attracts over thousands of tourists.

There are numerous swimming lakes that have man made beaches and are very picturesque all within easy distance from 15 mins to 45mins and some of the larger ones have water sports and restaurants etc.,

Location
Petite Maison des Roses (Rose Cottage) is situated on the Charente/Limousin Border in a Medieval Village where there is an abundance of swimming beach lakes and undulating countryside.

The village has all amenities such as Bar, Post Office, Chemist, Butchers, Bakers, Restaurant, Hairdressers, mini supermarket.

Limoges airport is 20 mins drive.

Nearest beach lake is 15 mins drive where you can swim or fish there is a cafe bar, toilets, lifeguard

St Junien's town is 10 mins drive.

Upstairs there is a very spacious romantic triple bedroom with a black ironwork double bed and a single bed. French style dressing table and wardrobe, easy chair, bedside stand and lights.

The bathroom leads off the landing from the bedroom and comprises of shower, toilet, sink.
