Kitchen facilities
Each home has a fully equipped kitchen, with a cooking stove, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, coffee making machine or plunger, toaster, kettle, lots of plates, dishes, crockery and a lovely big table to gather around for a meal.
External facilities
Pamoja is set right in front of the medieval church of St Vincent and the lovely lake of Chemillé sur Indrois.
Pamoja Liptrap is on the lake side and has a big deck and big garden both facing the water.
Pamoja Touraine is on the church side and has a sunny garden.
Both have outdoor dining capacity.
We provide a pétanque set, tennis rackets, fishing rods, outdoor games for children. It is possible to rent a canoe and bicycles.

We dreamed our house:
An idyllic setting, generous spaces, a nice garden, practical equipment, comfortable furniture, pleasant lighting and coupled it with a civic approach: wheelchair access, recuperation of rain water, local raw material, Class A or A+ electrical appliances and lights.
A designer, three architects and a series of tradesmen put together all their 'savoir faire' to bring life to this beautiful place, where natural peace, comfort, design and respect for others meet.
We call this "Pamoja", a word that comes from Africa describing togetherness. "Pamoja" is our dream and your holiday home.
Local activities
Set on the bank of the 'Lac du Chemillé' Pamoja is a couple of minutes walk to the beach of Chemillé sur Indrois (supervised), two recently installed playgrounds for children, a bistrot/restaurant, a pedalo, boat, canoe rental place, and a mini-golf...
There are several excellent guided walks around the lake, and Pamoja is well situated for exploring the Loire Valley by Bicycle.
A mere 2kms away, you will surely visit Montrésor, listed one of the prettiest villages in France, and find out all about its extraordinary history and interesting Polish connection. Visit the chateau, buy a paper and a baguette and watch the world pass by.
Over the hill from Pamoja is the fascinating Corrorie and Chatreuse du Liget. These historical monuments are open year round for visitors and often have cultural events.
...and of course you can venture a little further afield to enjoy the achitectural splendor of the Loire Valley Chateaux and vineyards.

Location
In front of the lake of Chemillé, in a typical French village, Pamoja is the ideal starting point for many activities, be they sport, food, fun, cultural, quiet.
A 300m walk along the lake takes you to the beach, two playgrounds, a restaurant, a boat rental place, a small mini-golf. Montrésor, Loches, Valençay, Chenonceau, Amboise, Blois, Chambord, Montpoupon, Villandry, Saint Aignan are a few of the many villages, towns, chateaux and gardens full of wonders.

Living rooms
The cottage is divided into two homes that can be used as one, Pamoja Touraine and Pamoja Liptrap.
Pamoja Touraine is the old dwelling part of the house. We dug the floor to make more ceiling height, we knocked down walls and created one big space full of charm, with exposed beams, an old brick and stone fireplace, a beautiful oak floor.
The main ground floor space has two couches and two armchairs in front of the fireplace, a modern and functional kitchen and a big wooden dining room table.
Pamoja Liptrap is an ancient barn turned into a home. Its generous volumes and natural light set it apart. The ground floor has one big open space with a kitchen, dining space and lounge with a baby grand piano.
The kitchen is big, functional and very well equipped.
The sitting room area is defined by comfortable couches, and old (but playable) piano and an efficient wood stove.
There is also a large deck and and sunroom that works as an extra bedroom, a sitting room, or an art studio
Bedrooms
Pamoja Liptrap (4-8 people) has one bedroom on the ground floor with an en-suite shower room and is accessible in a wheelchair. Upstairs, there are two bedrooms. One has a double bed and a lovely covered terrace facing the water and the other has 4 single beds. The two rooms share a bathroom.
Pamoja Touraine (4-6 people) has two bedrooms on the 1st floor. One bedroom has a double 140/190 bed and a single 90/200 bed. Another bedroom has two 90/200 beds, an en-suite dressing and shower/toilet.
All the bedrooms have storage space, the beds are comfortable, the lights are pleasant and functional.
