Kettle, Toaster, coffee maker, quality tableware and cutlery, stainless steel pans, infact everything you would need for a home from home experience, including a garlic press!
Folding picnic table & chairs, picnic bag and cool bag available for daily hire to enjoy the romantic countryside in style, please enquire.

External facilities
The large 12m & 6m solar heated swimming pool, is shared between the three cottages.
Sunloungers, BBQ and outdoor seating area to each cottage.
Please feel free to roam through the large 1 acre garden and help yourself to any produce from the garden that may be available.
Bicycles are available free to loan, to explore the fields on sunflowers and beautiful countryside- at your own risk!
All cottages benefit from the courtyard with open barn for private shaded parking

Local activities
The Poitou Charente region has an excellent sunshine record and benefits from the highest number of sunshine hours in France after the Cote dAzur.
CHEF BOUTONNE is approx 4km away with its fairytale chateau and 'Lavoirs' (ancient wash houses) which bubble with ice cold spring water, has a bustling market with stalls of freshly caught fish and local produce. The regional speciality, Pineau de Charente, a delicious aperitif is served in pavement cafes in the town square. Fishing permits can easily be obtained for a days fishing at CHEF BOUTONNE in the well stocked Chateau lake.

Near MELLE you will discover no less than three magnificent Romanesque churches which during summer months become venues for the festival of Baroque music in August.

Further afield approx 1 1/2 hours drive away, there is the sea at LA ROCHELLE for swimming, body boarding, surfing or just relaxing and absorbing the atmosphere in one of the many quayside cafes and restaurants on its colourful harbour.

Three cottages-Lavender, Hollyhock & Rose all different and containing some original features, oak beams, original bread oven, and original stone flooring, sympathetically restored by craftsmen.
Each cottage has two comfortable double settees, coffee table and other tables with lighting, H-fi CD player and CD's and availability of DVD player if required.
Lavender cottage has private shaded garden with french doors leading to the poolside.
Rose and Hollyhock also have their own shaded sitting area.
