Kitchen facilities
Each of our gites has a fully equipped kitchen with electric oven, electric hob, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, kettle, cafetiere, utensils, glasses, bottle openers etc, ample crockery and cutlery for maximum occupancy.
First night food supplies included: e.g. bread, jam, cheese, eggs, wine, seasonal fruit/salad.
Washing machine available on site.
External facilities
Cottages set around courtyard in tranquil countryside setting surrounded by Pine trees and Oak trees in near distance. 2 acre property surrounded by farmland, usually, maize or wheat, sunflowers in neighbouring fields during summer.
Private outdoor dining space, shared sunny courtyard, gardens and undercover barn with larger seating area for groups or shared BBQs
Play things and places for adventure for children, bikes to borrow. Splash pool in summer.

Special features
Our gites are suitable for groups as we have the shared "covered barn" eating and play area however each cottage has its own separate and private outdoor space so a quiet glass of something cold, a book and five minutes peace is very realistically achieved too!
We have designed and equipped our cottages to ensure your holiday happens with ease.
We are resident on site and therefore usually available should you require any assistance. However we understand the need to let you get on with your holiday!
We are happy to organise anything you specifically wish to do on your behalf, whether it be a half day cookery course, a treatment at our local spa town of La Roche Posay, Horse riding, please just ask.
In additional we are also happy to arrange a first night dinner, breakfasts or shopping before your arrival, again just let us know what you would like and we will do our enthusiatic best to make it happen!
Local activities
Plenty of quiet country lanes to adventure on foot or bike.
Horseriding available locally.
Swimming in summer 3km in le Grand Pressigny or under 10km in Lesginy in the river Creuse.
Fishing 3km in Aigronne or Claise, The river Creuse is 10km and there are many lakes to choose from all around.
Birdwatching we see a great range of birds rarely seen in UK in our own garden but for a wider variety the Brenne national Park is under an hour away.
Literally hundreds of places of interest whether it be the local river bathing to great chateaux and vineyards between 5 minutes to under an hour away.
Most local villages have a great weekly market and there are events and brocantes happening throughout the year.
These are great places to sample the local wines, cheeses and local delicacies which in the "Garden of France" are plentiful!

Location
Gites in two acres fruit and nut trees, herbs and vegetables growing, fresh eggs too! Les Limornières is 5 minutes from historic town of Le Grand Pressigny with bars, restaurants, weekly market, chateau and prehistoric museum. The town is situated around the river Aigronne and Claise offering great fishing and bird-watching. An outdoor pool, river and lake bathing in summer. Under one hour Tours, Poitiers, Richelieu, Le Blanc, The Brenne National Park. Under 30 minutes Descartes, Loches etc.
Living rooms
Chêne sleeps 2, Saule sleeps 4 and Noix sleeps 6 Each gite is a renovated stone farm cottage with generous living space.
Interior: Downstairs is open plan with lounge area with plenty of seating DVD and CD player. DVDs, CDs, Books and games available to borrow.
Dining area with table and chairs, stone fireplace and woodburning stove and kitchen.
Exterior: Parking space close to your front door.
Private enclosed patio garden with seating and BBQ + shared courtyard garden.
Shared covered communal space within the whole grounds - additional BBQ, table and seating, outdoor
Bedrooms
Each cottage is equipped with double beds, new mattresses, duvets and pillows and ample storage for clothes.
Chêne sleeps 2, has a double aspect room with double bed and room for child bed or cot.
Saule sleeps 4 with one double bedroom downstairs off the hall and the master bedroom and shower room upstairs - there is ample room for cot and additional child bed upstairs for no extra charge
Noix sleeps 6 with 2 single-beds downstairs, two double bedrooms upstairs and ample room for additonal cots in either upstairs rooms.
Shower room - Plenty of hot water, rental price includes bathroom towels, bedding and electricity.
In keeping with the age and style of our cottages, some bedrooms are in the roof space with beams.
