Kitchen facilities
Our kitchen is 23 sqm with a large table and 6 chairs. There is a double sink, gas hob, electric oven, microwave, satellite TV and radio. We have two fridge and freezers. We have a utility room with a washing machine, tumble dryer and ironing facilities. There are cupboards and a dresser.

External facilities
A large courtyard for car parking, a secluded garden with fruit trees and a vegetable place. Numerous garden chairs and a large table, a barbeque.

Special features
I have painted some murals on the walls in the house. In the upstairs guest shower room I have painted a beach hut and seaside view and in the landing you will see large sunflowers on the wall.

Local activities
On Tuesday morning there is a large traditional market in the square nearby our house. The square has small shops, cafes and restaurants. Just beyond the square is an attrasctive park with a large open-air swimming pool, a lake, tennis courts, petanque area, childrens playground and picnic area. Nearby there is a rural museum. All these activities are all within a few minutes walk. We have new adult bicycles you can hire and the beautiful quiet area is ideal for cycling or walking. There is a small supermarket ten minutes walk away. Melle (where you can visit the famous Royal Silver Mine) is only 10 minutes by car. The pretty old town has larger shops and three ancient romanesque churches. Niort, Poitiers (with Futurescope), La Rochelle and Cognac are ideal to visit for a day.

Location
Our bed and breakfast house is close to the square where there is a large traditional market on Tuesday. Two minutes from the house there is a delightful park with a large open air swimming pool, tennis courts, childrens playground, picnic area, petanque and a lake, where you can fish. In the square there are cafes, restaurant and small shops. Melle, the nearest town, is ten minutes by car. Niort is 35 minutes, Poitiers 40 minutes and La Rochelle and Cognac are both just over an hour.

Our downstairs bedroom is disabled friendly, also suitable for pushchairs. There is an ensuite shower room and an adjacent seperate toilet. The other two bedrooms are on the second floor with a large shower room, with washbasin and toilet. The rooms with exposed beams have been renovated and with new pine furniture. In each room there is a double bed and one single. This floor is exclusive for guests. In the hall there is a fridge for your use. In each bedroom there is a kettle and coffe and tea facilities. We have air conditioning. The downstaird room is 30 sqm and the upstairs rooms are 27 sqm and 21 sqm.
