The kitchen has a large dining area, and includes electric cooker, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, toaster, large fridge with ice box, cooking and eating utensils and open fireplace.
External facilities
The garden is laid to lawn with peach, plum, pear, apricot, berry and fig trees that you can pick on your holiday. The garden is surrounded by a stone wall, so is private and safe for children. The house is accessed through wooden gates, into a courtyard, which can be shut and locked for extra security and peace of mind.
Special features
The house has central heating throughout, and fireplaces in all the downstairs rooms.
All bedding and bathroom towels are included.

We had a lovely time at La Pagerie and congratulate you on the conversion and refurbishment work you have done there. It was real joy to stay there, everything we needed was supplied and we especially appreciated the comfortable beds after a busy day out visiting. We only wish we had had more time to see more of the area. That will have to wait until our next visit
Your house is fantastic - it's comfortable and spacious (perfect for our 3 couples) and having 3 en-suites was a big plus! The weather was excellent which meant we got to spend quite a bit of time in the (enormous) garden

La Pagerie is the perfect base to explore the beautiful region of Poitou-Charantes, and below is a selection of attractions within easy reach:
Melle - the Romanesque town Melle boasts medieval chateaux, art treasures, a weekly market on a Friday and the old silver mines which are well worth visiting. The town also has a good selection of bars and restaurants, along with supermarkets and boutiques.
Chef Boutonne - with it's 15th century fairytale Chateau Javarazy, park and fishing lake. This market town is a short drive away and has a weekly market on Saturday mornings.
La Vallee des Singes - a great family day out, with 350 free roaming monkeys and 30 different species to discover. You have direct contact with the animals and a feeding schedule allows you to plan your day in this nature park.
Futurscope - near Poitiers has futuristic architecture and pays homage to the technologies of tomorrow. See 3D films on the giant, flat, circular or spherical screens.

Location
La Pagerie is the perfect base to explore the beautiful region of Poitou-Charantes, with numerous market towns or La Rochelle and Poitiers within easy reach. The beaches around Royan provide the perfect day trip for all ages. Marais Poitevin - known as 'green Venice', is France's largest collection of man-made waterways, covered with waterlilies and irises, and is the second largest area of wetlands. La Vallee des Singes - a great family day out, with 350 free roaming monkeys.

The living room has TV with English satellite, stereo, DVD player, coffee table, sofas/armchairs, open fireplace and French doors to the garden.
The dining room has a table, chairs, heated trolley, open fireplace and access to the garden via French doors.
The games room has seating around the open fireplace, a TV with DVD player, a playstation and X-Box, children and adult board games. French doors lead into the garden.

All three bedrooms have en-suite bath/shower rooms, original wooden beams and views across the garden and countryside.
