Separate kitchen/dining room (also with double patio doors opening onto the balcony) : newly fitted and fully equipped including halogen hob, full sized oven, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave and dining table/chairs.
External facilities
The studio has a full width balcony equipped with 2 steamer style chairs and a dining table/chairs. It overlooks the communal parc and grounds, if you fancy a stroll or sit in the sunshine. Just across the road is the Parc Frank Delmas, and next to that the seafront parcs of La Rochelle. Plenty of parking is available in the residence's visitors parking.

With your confirmation letter, you'll get an information booklet - with our favourite places to eat and drink, locations/times of local shops etc - & of course maps and directions for getting to the studio!
Waiting for you when you arrive:
Initial supplies of tea, coffee, milk & sugar (if you need something stronger there's the complimentary bottle of wine!).
Studio is well equipped with heating, with centrally controlled wall mounted electric radiators and convector heaters.
The owners are ashamed to say that some of the internal doors are too narrow for wheelchairs to get through. Otherwise, the facilities are quite accessible for people with mobility difficulties and there is a lift from the ground floor.
The studio is available to be rented by the day (min periods apply) outside of July & August, when it is available by the week (starting/finishing on Thursdays or Fridays).

Local activities
La Rochelle well deserves its reputation as "the most attractive & unspoilt seaside town in France". Set around its Old Port, with its famous twin towers, are a host of delights including port side bars and restaurants, old arcaded town streets, parks and gardens historical buildings such as the Hôtel de Ville, Maison Henri II or the Palais de Justice – as well as of course the Tours de la Chaîne, la Lanterne and St.Nicolas, museums of all sorts, including Musée des Beaux-Arts, Musée du Nouveau Monde and the Musée Maritime and La Rochelle beach to relax on after a walk though the sea-front parks !

Location
Walk out of the studio's grounds, through the Parc and then choose: either stroll down the Mail past the Parc Charruyer and down the newly pedestrianised Rue St. Jean du Pérot into the Old Port (about 20 mins), or take the more leisurely sea-front route down the Promenade de la Concurrence past the beach and into the Old Port (30 mins).
Living rooms
Large living/bed room (3.6m x 5.9m) : with full width double patio doors opening onto the balcony, a large living area with sofa and easy chair, coffee table, TV/DVD, CD/radio/cassette player, room safe and direct dial telephone/answering machine. At the other end of the room is a full sized double bed with quality mattress.
