The property is located in the midst of beautiful countryside so biking, walking, bird-watching and fishing can all be found on your doorstep.

If relaxing by the beach is more your thing, the Charente leisure lakes are only a short drive away with supervised beaches and swimming, watersports, restaurants and crazy golf.

In the nearest town of Mansle (10 min drive) you will find all the shops you need including 2 supermarkets, and a lovely restaurant overlooking the Charente river. Kayaking is also available.

Angouleme with its great shopping, gourmet restaurants, old cathedral and medieval ramparts is only 30 mins drive away and a bit further afield are the delightful towns of Cognac and Jarnac.

La Rochelle and Royan are both easily within reach as a day trip if you want to soak up the rays on their gorgeous beaches whilst Futuroscope is just over an hour away and makes a great family day out.

Location
This property is ideally situated in the rolling Charente countryside. The nearest town of Mansle is just 10 mins away with shops and 2 supermarkets, and the local bakers can be found in the nearest village just 5 mins away, and they also deliver.

Angouleme is situated nearby which is steeped in culture & history, and lots of shopping and restaurants too. There is also the local airport to be found there, which is just 20 mins away. Limoges and Poitiers airport are also only an hour away.

This property comes with a large open plan kitchen/living/dining room, with gorgeous exposed stone walls and a wood burning stove, with door leading onto the terrace, garden and swimming pool.

The living area comes with a 3-seater and 2-seater sofa, a television with terrestrial TV, video and DVD. There are also lots of DVD's, videos, books and board games for your entertainment too.

There is also a dining table with 4 chairs.

There is a large, light and airy master bedroom with wooden floors and beams, with a double bed, bedside tables with reading lights, a wardrobe and chest of drawers. There is also a second bedroom which is accessed by a steep staircase.
