The kitchen is traditional French style and décor. Equipped with original wood burning stove, hobs, microwave, fridge freezer, plenty of storage space. Bar with stools, dining table and chairs.
External facilities
The outside consists of fenced in garden, ideal for children. Their is a patio area with outdoor table and chairs. A well established grapevine grows along the back wall of the property. Their is a BBQ area with built in outdoor BBQ and food preparation area.

The house has an incredibly peaceful atmosphere, often noted by visitors to the property. It provides the ideal venue for those seeking a non-pretentious rustic retreat. the house has not been modernised since the 1950's and retains all of it's original features including original stone work, wooden beams, wood burning stoves, and a vaulted cellar.
Guests will also have access to FREE PRIVATE FISHING on tranquil river frontage which is only accessible to guests.
Local activities
There are many local activities and attractions. Pompadour is adorned with a magnificent château opposite which there is weekly horse racing during the summer months. Pompadour offers show jumping and horse racing every Sunday from June to September, swimming pool, supermarkets, banks, restaurants, shops and local market. A 15-minute drive will take you to St Yrieix or Vigeois, quaint towns with shopping, bars and restaurants. Nearby you also have Limoges, famous for its pottery, Collonge la Rouge, Brive (reputed to be one of the best food markets in France) the Chateaux of the Dordogne valley with Sarlat, Perigueux, Rocamadour, Dome, Hautefort...etc...and the world famous caves of Lascaux, Les Eyzies and Font de Gaume. A 15 minute drive takes you to Rouffiac a white sand beached lake with swimming and boating, ideal for children.

Large kitchen dining room in traditional French style, the house has not been modernised and retains all original features including the original wood burning stove. The kitchen is spacious, homely, and bright. The kitchen diner is separated with a breakfast bar. Ideal room for family and guest entertaining. There is also a downstairs lounge, with wood burner, wood beams and original stone work wall. Large wide hallway and downstairs toilet.
Bedrooms
There are three double bedrooms, all in rustic French style. The master bedroom is very large with fireplace, and front facing French windows. The second bedroom is front facing and has a wood burning stove.
The third bedroom faces the rear of the house overlooking the garden. It also has a wood burning stove and traditional furnishings.
