Outside there is a balcony terrace as well as access to the gardens and swimming pool. Shady seating areas and a private car park are available. The village has games areas, lovely walks and lots of charm.

The Ceze and Ardeche to the north and west offer a huge range of outdoor activities from wonderful walks to canoeing on the rivers, climbing, cycling, caves and much more.

To the south and east the lavender fields and vineyards of Provence stretch out as far as the eye can see. Wine tasting, horse riding, wonderful restaurants and lazy riverside strolls all await.

Within a 45 minute drive are the towns of Avignon and Orange with their medieval and Roman styles. The famous aqueduct at Pont du Gard is also close by whilst the market town of Uzes is a treat to behold...

Location
The village of St Andre de Roquepertuis lies in the Ceze Valley in the Gard departement. It's like a little outcrop of Provence on the western bank of the Rhone.

Vines, fruit trees, woodlands, lavender fields and ancient villages

The valley is gently undulating and covered in vines, fruit trees, woodlands, lavender fields and ancient villages. The river Ceze runs down the middle, providing pools for swimming in, rapids to kayak through and waterfalls to gasp at.

The gite has a large open-plan living/dining/kitchen area with exposed wooden beams and hand-built wooden furniture. There is a sofabed in the living room area, plus a TV, DVD player and hifi.

There is one bedroom which can be made up as a twin or double as required. There is also a large, comfortable sofa-bed in the the lounge - perfect for parent with children or those looking to make their money go as far as possible without compromising on quality.
