Kitchen facilities
Downstairs there is a fully fitted solid oak kitchen with a professional range cooker, microwave oven, American style fridge with ice-maker, three sinks and the all-important dishwasher. A generous selection of quality crockery, glassware and utensils are provided to ensure that everyone dines in style.
During the winter months a separate charge may be levied to cover extraordinary heating costs.
External facilities
Part of our garden is landscaped with a waterfall, fish ponds and secluded walkways and this area, together with the 9m x 5m swimming pool is fenced and gated to ensure your children's safety. There is a large balcony attached to the Studio and there are sun patios around the pool area with covered barbecue areas strategically placed to take advantage of the spectacular sunsets!
Special features
On the landing is a separate WC and of course the obligatory washing machine - all the linen, bedding and towels are included in the price! But don't forget to bring your own towels for the swimming pool and the beach!

Local activities
There are countless walks and cycle tracks with a wealth of wildlife and nature to explore. The area is charming and well worth exploring for yourself. Bagnault and its neighbouring village Exoudun has been awarded the status of "cite de caractere en Poitou-Charentes" only given to the most picturesque villages in the region.
Vist the nearby towns of La Mothe St Heray (7 minutes away and your nearest shops), Lezay and St Maixent l'Ecole to experience the local way of life and sample the unique weekly markets selling everything from sun hats to garlic!

Location
Maison Tournesol is set in the Deux Sèvres region of the Poitou-Charentes, said to be the second sunniest area of France. Bagnault is a beautiful medieval village containing a richness of architecture and history, surrounded by lovely countryside. The property is set in the heart of the village but enjoys privacy and tranquillity in this truly unspoilt area.
Living rooms
The entrance hall contains a comprehensive information centre and leads through to the spacious open plan kitchen and dining area. The large lounge is enhanced by an original water feature and amply furnished with comfortable sofas, easy chairs and coffee tables. This room has a lovely open view of the terraced gardens, and should you require some entertainment you can enjoy the satellite TV (with some English channels), DVD, CD and sound system.
Bedrooms
On the ground floor is a large double bedroom with en suite shower room and feature fireplace. French doors give access to it's own enclosed sun patio and the front courtyard.
The first floor houses 2 large double bedrooms; one with double bed and en suite shower room, the other with king size bed with the en-suite having a corner bath with shower over and is large enough to be converted into a "family" bedroom with more beds if required.
On the third floor there is a totally self-contained apartment which includes a fully equipped kitchen and shower room and dining area. There are 2 bedrooms, one with 3 single beds and the other with a double bed.
Accessed by a second staircase from the main lounge is the studio: This comprises a light and spacious double bedroom with en suite shower room, a further large room which can comfortably sleep up to four people. Off this room is an enclosed outdoor sun balcony with beautiful views over the landscaped garden and pool area
