Each cottage has a recently fitted, modern, well equipped kitchen with dishwasher, oven, gas hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster and all the required utensils.
External facilities
Other facilities on-site include a well-stocked Carp fishing lake (for the exclusive use of guests), an indoor badminton hall, a well-equipped fitness suite, heated swimming pool, table tennis, bicycles, children’s play equipment, laundry room, large gardens and barbecues.
Special features
We have 2 quad bikes for hire by guests. The course is set well away from the cottages to avoid disturbing the tranquility of the setting.

Local activities
Local amenities include golf, horse-riding, tennis, jet-skiing, canoeing, paintballing, go-karting, hot air ballooning. Loches, Amboise (wonderful Sunday market) and Blois are all within an easy car drive. Probably the best zoo in France, at St Aignan, is an easy 15 minute drive away. There are some excellent golf courses within an hours drive. The area abounds with vineyards and wine producers many of whom offer tastings and sell direct to the public. The local area produces some excellent cabernet and gamay red wines whilst the town of Montrichard is well known for its production of red and sparkling white wines. The world reknowned Appelation Controlé of Vouvray is within a 40 minute drive.

Location
About 40kms east of Tours and 15 minutes from the famous château de Chenonceau in the heart of the Touraine wine region. The Loire valley is renowned for its historic Chateaux, one of the most famous being Chenonceaux which is a mere 12 kms away. Montrichard and Loches are close by. Futuroscope is a 90 min drive. The local area has a wealth of wildlife and many quiet lanes and woods begging to be explored. 1 hour from Tours airport.
