External facilities
Villa is enclosed in approx 1000 sqm of land with large open plan garden, that contains a small walled stream at the very rear. There are double gates to the front and side and a private driveway provides parking, although there is free parking on the quiet road outside. Front and rear terraces. Large BBQ. 2 Sun loungers & parasols provided. Village is a 2 minute stroll down pretty lanes. There you will find butchers, bakers, minimarkets, newsagents, bars, restaurants, waterfall and boules area
Special features
Doctors, Pharmacy, and post office can all be found within 2 minutes walk, on the main street. Large supermarkets, petrol stations, boutiques, pottery and gift stores, are all within 8-9 minutes walking and 2-3 minutes by car. There is a local taxi service in the village square as well as take-away pizza for those quickie lunches. For those wishing to explore by public transport, the train station is just 6km away at the medieval village of Les Arcs. This has regular trains to almost everywhere, although to get the most from this beautifully varied and colourful region we recommend hiring a car.

Local activities
Discover the history of this rural village by taking a tour through its tiny lanes. Maps are provided.Visit the old church,the cascade of the naturby river or enjoy the work of Local artisans, nestled in the small side streets. Fine restaurants are dotted around the village square, and a visit to the grotto restaurant is a must to experience the provençal way of life. Excellent colourful markets are everywhere and we highly recommend Le Muy (5kms)on Sundays, Draguignan (3km) Saturdays. With beautiful scenery,Chateaus,Winetasting. Relax or explore its up to you. Provence, a wonderful holiday location with 300 days of sunshine a year, this area is ideal all year round. With wonderful walks, cycling, climbing, canoeing, golfing, riding and shopping. 1.5 hours from skiing, or just 45 mins to St Tropez ,30 mins to Cannes, Monaco ,just over an hour away.Enjoy the bustling ports and sandy beaches just 25 mins away or venture into the mountains to visit the Gorges du Verdon or Tortoise village

Location
Trans is 15 to 20 minutes to fabulous forests & lakes and within easy reach of the Gorges du Verdon, Europe’s ''Grand Canyon'',a real must see. Although the villa itself is in a quiet spot we are within 10 minutes of the main A8 highway with access to both Spain & Italy nearby. 25 minutes to both Fréjus and St Raphael with their trendy shops, cafes, ports, and beaches. Nice airport is approx. 50 minutes away by car, or around 60min by train, of which our nearest station is Les Arcs 6km away.
Living rooms
• Large open plan lounge, with open log fire (for winter use)and original oak beamed ceiling. French windows with bamboo blinds give access to both front and rear private outside semi-shaded sun terraces for eating and relaxing. Lounge comfortably furnished with table, and two comfy canape sofas. TV is available for playback with DVD/video player. There is also a Portable radio and cd player.
• Lounge opens into spacious dining area with large pine dining table with seating for 10.
• The dining room in turn leads into the summer house which can double as a bedroom if needed. ( double sofa bed). It has floor to ceiling sliding doors allowing sunlight to flood in. A great place to breakfast or relax anytime of the day or night, and with the doors providing direct access to the front garden, it is a wonderful covered alternative to sit of an evening with a glass of wine and star gaze.
•Tiled floors throughout the villa create a cool mediterranean feel.
Bedrooms
1•Downstairs there is a large airy double bedroom with wrought iron Double bed, with Romantic Provençal style bed drapes. An open wardrobe provides hanging space and shelving for clothes. French windows with bamboo blinds, leads out onto front terrace and garden.
2•Also downstairs is the summer house(as above), with large sliding windows giving access to front garden.
•Tiled winding staircase leads to first floor. Bedrooms are decorated with Romance and Provençal charm.
3•Upstairs is another bright double bedroom , with twin beds , leading to an en-suite, containing, hand basin, shower and WC.
4•There is a also a single bedroom with single bed and small bedside table and cupboard.
5• Large Downstairs bathroom with hand basin, bath, and bidet, separate downstairs WC.
Bedlinen-
*Bedlinen included, and hand towels. Bath and beach towels must be brought with you.
For stays of 2 weeks or more, linen will be changed weekly.
