Each is well equipped with dishwasher, washing macine, gas oven, hob, grill, microwave, fridge/freezer and all crockery and cutlery for a child friendly self catering gite holiday.

External facilities
All the cottages have garden table and chairs with parasol and barbecue.

The swimming pool is completely enclosed for safety. Sit back on your terrace and relax with a glass of locally produced chilled Pineau, whilst your children play safely within view. Two cottages face the garden (ideal for families with younger children) and two face the pool (ideal for teenagers).

Special features
We are different to other properties, not only because we have been here for 10 years and so we are truley integrated into the local community and know just what our guests are looking for, but also because, with Chris' knowledge of wine (he worked in the wine industry in our 'previous life') we can offer exclusive wine related activities. We hold regular professional wine tastings and family vine walks and guided visits to a local wine and cognac producer.

Location
We believe we are perfectly located to visit the whole of the Poitou Charente region. And as the name Charente Maritime suggests we are just an easy one hour drive to all the coastal resorts from La Rochelle to Royan with all the fantastic beaches in between. It is also just one hour or less to Poitiers and Futuroscope, Angouleme, Niort and all the other great historic towns in the area. With Cognac and Saintes even closer you just couldn't ask for a more perfect location.

The FAMILY FRIENDLY gites are self contained, self catering properties. We are right in the countryside on the edge of the rural hamlet of Puy de Brette, nestled in a valley between a gently rolling landscape. Each cottage has three bedrooms (one has four) sleepng six comfortably. The master bedroom has a king sized bed.

Each gite has plenty of room for a cot as well which we can provide free of charge.

The spacious bathrooms have bath and shower, toilet and sink and plenty of constant hot water and excellent pressure.
