The villa has an open kitchen includinh dishwasher, microwave, toaster, coffee maker and all cooking utensils.

External facilities
The villa is surrounded by pine trees, plus 300 square meters of garden, including pool. While the pool is shared with the owners, guests have their own entrance to the pool area. The villa also has a private 40 square meter terrace, ideal for barbecues. The house also has its own private entrance for guests and visitors.

The superbly decorated bathroom offers an Italian marble shower and freestanding tub. WC is separate. The house is fully air-conditioned. Baby chair and bed provided upon request. Fireplace gives on to both the living area and master bedroom. Charcoal grill provided.

Local activities
Villa Bacchus is ideally located in the heart of Provence. There is hiking, cycling, golf, tennis and horseback riding nearby. Avignon is a tourist's delight, with numerous monuments and museums to discover, including the Pope's Palace and the Pont d'Avignon. The city's Opera House offers a well-balanced theater program throughout the year, and there is of course the famous Festival d'Avignon every July. There are a number of fine restaurants in Avignon, with something for every taste bud; and the city offers some of the best shopping in Provence.

Nearby sightseeing includes numerous Roman ruins located in Vaison-la-Romaine, Arles (home of Van Gogh), Nîmes and the Pont du Gard. Saint-Rémy is a 30km drive.

The villa is also ideally located to tour the Côtes du Rhône vineyards.

Location
The gite is situated in a peaceful area of Les Angles, close to the historical center of Avignon. Avignon is a tourist's delight with many monuments and museums to discover, including the Pope's Palace and the Pont d'Avignon. Nearby sightseeing includes numerous Roman ruins located in Vaison-la-Romaine, Arles (home of Van Gogh), Nîmes and the Pont du Gard. Saint-Rémy is a 30km drive, with its famous market and tree-lined, cobblestone streets. The city of Marseille is just 100km away.

The Villa Bacchus is equipped with a cozy living room with fireplace, plus dining area and open kitchen. The house is beautifully decorated in Provençal style with enormous attention to detail. The house includes stunning ancient high-beamed ceilings and a double-sided gothic inspired fireplace, which gives onto both the living room and the master bedroom. All of this is set against the most gorgeous limestone floor, which dates from the 17th century and was recovered from a nearby convent and restored by hand by the owners themselves. And as if that weren't enough, all flooring in the villa is heated - even the Italian shower! - making this villa an ideal place for both a summer and winter holiday.

Villa Bacchus accommodates up to seven people, with two bedrooms and one large loft, which sleeps three.
