Client Testimonials
"Having subscribed to numerous free listing websites and never getting any enquiries, I was naturally sceptical when someone recommended FrenchEntrée. I have, however, been more than impressed by the number of enquiries I have received since listing my property on the site. I would be very happy to recommend them to fellow holiday rentals owners" Mr and Mrs James
"FrenchEntrée's offer to advertise holiday accommodation and the format which they provided to build our web advert has showcased our gite perfectly. We have a website with another company, but the majority of our bookings this summer have come through FrenchEntrée. We have had three enquiries this week alone even with the holiday season drawing to a close!
What has also been nice is the fact that after posting our advert on FrenchEntrée, Technical help was available when needed and this proved to be extremely useful. No demands have been made of us and we have not been bombarded with floods of emails and advertisements from FrenchEntrée or other companies. So far, all enquiries about our property have been genuine and our letting experience to date has been without any problems.
Thank you to FrenchEntrée for providing such a superb, effective service." Mr and Mrs Lewis, Lazydays Gite
"I have my gite advertised on your Holidays page and have been delighted with the responses that I have received". Kay Feltham, Poitou-Charentes
"I would like to inform you of my satisfaction regarding the responses from your website regarding our holiday rental properties and tourist information activities. Indeed we have been able to see a progressive increase in the number of emails sent to us in reference to our listings on your site. So I take advantage of this message to thank you for the efficiency of your website." Prica Mellouet, Plouescat Tourist Information Office
"The Gite market in the Aude is becoming a more saturated one, with a huge increase in people turning their properties into Gites. Therefore, it is imperative to advertise with a website that gets excellent results in all major search engines- which leads to serious clients' enquiries. FrenchEntrée delivers just this and I can recommend them." Michael Bowditch, Aude
"We are, at present, in a dilema with regards our advertising this year. Thanks to our successful advertising on your data base at FrenchEntree.com we are fully booked for the coming holiday season. Therefore, we are now enquiring into the possibility of re-joining your data-base at a later stage, or do we have to renew each February?” PB, Lot
Notice to Property Advertisers on FrenchEntrée.com
With the number of property sales via the internet increasing, one of the unfortunate side-effects is the increasing numbers of scammer and fraudsters targeting people selling property and attempting to trick homeowners into handing over large sums of money.
Nigerian Advance Fee Fraud or Nigerian 419 Scam
There are many variations of the scam and we would like to highlight to you the dangers of online advance fee fraud and the 419 scam as it is known. The scam often originates from Nigeria, other Western African countries and cities such as London and Amsterdam and will often involve an initial contact enquiring about the purchase of a property. The fraudster will then try to set up an advance fee fraud which might involve, for example, sending you a larger sum of money as a deposit and then getting the seller to refund some money back. The original payment from the scammer will ultimately be rejected leaving the vendor out of pocket. The scam can also operate with the fraudster asking for an initial deposit from the seller to free up a large sum of money with the fraudster then suggesting that they will reimburse the person making the deposit with a profit.
Our advice is to be diligent in dealing with any suspicious email requests. Some examples of emails from scammers are shown below:
Example 1: Goodday, Am Kelvin Anderson i reside at address removed. Hope all is well over there, just came across your home and i will like to know more about it and also the conditions cos' we need it urgently. it is urgently needed. Hope to read from you soonest for futher proceedure regarding the issuing of payment.
Example 2: Please. Are you the owner of the house advertised on the website www.frenchentree-property.com for sale? Email me if it’s still available lets discuss, Thanks and God Bless.
If you receive any enquiries like this do not reply directly to the email enquiry as this will mean that they will obtain your personal email address. Inform us at enquiries@frenchentree.com if you have any suspicions and we will look into the enquiry for you.
For further information on the Advance Fee Fraud and the 419 scam please read the Metropolitan Police website and the United States Secret Service website. Both websites will be able to offer more information on the scams and what to look for in potential scam emails.
