Our two gites -- Gite “Talahof” sleeps 4 and Gite “Hazel” sleeps 6 are only a stones throw away from the 5 acre lake, set in 18acres of meadow land and close to our swimming pool. Both gites are comfortably furnished and all bed linen and towels are included in the price.
If you don’t want to cook, we offer a full catering option.
In our 5 acre lake there are naturally occurring Rudd, Roach and Carp, stocked Tench, Perch, Black Bass to 4lb, and Pike. In January 2006 we added to the carp stock with carp up to 56lbs. By April 2006 one had been caught, a mirror, and already weighed in at 56lbs. We named him the “golden Haggis” and he’s waiting to be caught again.
For fishing bookings we offer unlimited fishing, including night fishing (you are welcome to bivvy up lakeside).No fixed pegs - secure footing. Private lake - no licence needed.
Easy access to the lakeside and downstairs bedrooms and bathrooms, make this an ideal venue for the moderately disabled or elderly.
We are also in an ideal spot to stay whilst you house hunt in the Limousin/Poitou Charente area.
