Duras is a very popular bastide town with its imposing Chateau standing gurard over the undulating countryside - often referred to as the Tuscany of the South West. Many events are hosted by the chateau and the town has a range of commerce including schools, banks, supermarkets, restaurants and bars. Duras is in the middle of the wine growing country with many vineyards open for visiting and tasting. The property is easily accessible by road - 20 mins from the A62 or by flying into Bergerac or Bordeaux
