The Location

Vallorcine is a small traditional, unspoilt and friendly town in Haute Savoie at an altitude of 1264 metres. Situated near to the Swiss border in the Mont Blanc massif and only an hour from Geneva, Vallorcine has access to some of the worlds best skiing. It is in the same valley as Chamonix and a new cable car running to the ski domaine of Balme has been successfully operating for 3 years. The link has created a huge ski area at the northern edge of the Chamonix Valley, with some excellent tree lined runs. Vallorcine is a friendly resort, popular with beginners, intermediates and families, however there is skiing for experts a short bus ride away. The resort is also accessible by train via the Mont Blanc Express. The ski area of Le Tour and Vallorcine between 1480 and 2270 metres, reached by chair lift consists of 12 blue runs, 7 red and 1 black.

Vallorcine has all the facilities you would expect for a village including numerous restaurants, bars and shops. There are also plenty of activities both in the summer and winter. In summer, walkers can enjoy the breathtaking scenery in places such as the Aiguilles Rouges nature reserve at an altitude of 1200 metres. Other activities include rock climbing, mountain biking, tennis, fishing and canyoning.

The Investment
