It's on the edge of a small hilltop village centred around a medieval castle overlooking a large lake. and with wonderful views of the Pyrenees. The lake, about 1000 acres, is about a 10 minute walk it's a lovely quiet spot as no power boats, just sail boats allowed. The Canal du Midi is about 10 minutes by car, the motorway about 15 and the airports of Toulouse and Carcassonne about 40. Close to the village there are 5 or 6 restaurants, good value and not terribly expensive. The supermarket, again is about 15 minutes by car

The houses all date from the end of the eighteenth century, recently renovated, they have wooden and tiled floors, exposed beams, new bathrooms, kitchens and roofs and have been lovingly decorated. They actually sleep 2.4, 6 and 8/12 people. All together there are 9 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms. Each house has it's private terrace and there are other communal terraces.

Everything that is needed to start a holiday business is included in the price: the houses are sold fully furnished, equipped and ready to move into, there is a website in 4 languages, included in the price! and the current owner will help with contacts and marketing.

1. The Blue House, 110 m², sleeps 6. On the Ground floor is a fully equipped kitchen, about 25 m² with dining-area. The kitchen comes fully equipped. Direct access to a South facing patio. A few steps up to a Hall off which is a bathroom with shower, toilet, basin and washing-machine. The drawing-room, about 25 m² is also on this level. The first floor has the master bedroom, about 15 m² with shower and basin and a separate toilet. On the second floor is the loft, a large room of about 30 m².

2. The Storehouse, 80 m², sleeps 4. On the Ground floor a Kitchen, 22 m² with dining area and direct access to a South facing patio. Equipped with fridge, oven, washing machine etc. and the drawing room (22 m²) On the first floor a two bedrooms 15 m² and 13 m a bathroom with shower, basin and toilet.

3. The Old Smithy, 200 m², sleeps 8/12. Entrance hall with access to wine cellar, scullery and bathroom. The open plan living area, 35 m², again has direct access to South-facing terrace and contains an equipped kitchen with bar, dining area and sitting area with open fire place. On the first floor there are 3 bedrooms of 11m², 12m² and 24 m², an ensuite bathroom can easily be created within the master bedroom, a separate toilet, shower room with wash basin. On the second floor is a large loft, 36 m², suitable for 3 or 4 beds or as a play room, there is a shower room with toilet and wash basin.

4. Artist's Studio, 50 m², sleeps 2. The Ground floor has an entrance hall, bedroom,12 m², bathroom with shower, toilet and basin as well as the washing machine. There is direct access to a South facing patio. On the First floor is a lounge, 25 m² with corner kitchen, fully equipped and a dining and sitting area.

The Communal facilities are a Pool, 7.30 x 3.70; 1.20 deep with several terraces. Large glass-fronted function room with bar, billiard table and lake view terrace. The garden with views of the lake and the Pyrenees, Ping-pong table area, space to play ball and badminton and 'jeux-de-boules' and a Parking area.

Cet ensemble de maisons qui datent de plusieurs siècles se trouve au bord d’un village sur une colline avec une vue merveilleuse sur les environs. Le village, construit autour du château médiéval, est très petit et calme. Le Lac est à 10 minutes à pied. Le célèbre Canal du Midi

(classé patrimoine culturel mondial par l'UNESCO) est à 10 minutes en voiture. Le village se trouve à environ 15 minutes de l’autoroute et à environ 40 minutes des aéroports de Toulouse et de Carcassonne. A proximité du village vous trouverez 5 ou 6 restaurants à des prix très abordables. Les supermarchés sont à 15 minutes en voiture.

Les rénovations ont été faits entre 2000 et 2004, Toitures refaits à neuf, salles d’eau et WC neuves, cuisines neuves, plomberie neuve, électricité refait à neuf, sauf une petite partie dans la maison principale. Chauffes eau neuves pour chaque maison. Chauffage par des ‘inverters’ (chauffage à point haut de gamme, électrique et carburant)
