La Chorale Franglaise was formed as Crème Franglaise in autumn 2007 to be “an international choir of singers willing to work towards a high standard, sing in all styles, and to put on enjoyable concerts.” In its short life the choir has performed regularly in Lunel, appearing in local musical festival and with other local and international groups, and is always looking for new members and supporters. 
The value of the Internet is that you can find answers to most of the questions you may ask before your move to France, and many more which may crop up after your arrival. And for those moving to the Languedoc-Roussillon there is also AFAL, a cultural exchange group which aims to help with more than language learning, by providing opportunities through a range of activities for each nationality to learn more about the other’s culture and way of life.

Bespoke furniture maker Anton Greefhorst, originally from The Netherlands, started his love affair with rural France over 18 years ago, and now lives in a small village south of Carcassonne. Here he shares his story of how he came to be living there, what changes he has observed over the years, and how he made the transition from accounts consultancy to furniture making.

It’s fair to say that Alison Judge is an adventurous soul and highly adaptable. Working in London as a primary school teacher has prepared her for anything! She set off for her adventures in 1998 when she moved to Spain. Two years later she was found herself at a campsite by Lake Montbel in the Aude department of France, decided to settle in the region and now runs Aerobus, a friendly and reliable local transport service. 
This August marked the 5th wedding anniversary of Jamie and Greca Sandford, your hosts here at FrenchEntree Languedoc-Roussillon. We celebrated our wedding vows back in 2003 with a memorable ceremony at a small family run hotel in the Gard department of the Languedoc-Roussillon, with 40 of our nearest and dearest.

Douglas Tulloch and Geoff Pople moved to the Gard in the Languedoc in May 2003 to set up a Chambres d’Hôtes. Today they are the proud owners of a beautifully renovated Roman style villa, complete with pool, overlooking the charming medieval village of Vézénobres.

She designs and markets her own selection of garden products, sourced from the best manufacturers in Italy, France, UK, Spain and Turkey.
