With it's close location to Italy and Monaco, Menton is a very popular destination on the Cote d'Azur for tourists and home buyers. Menton and the surrounding area is well known for lemons and the Fete du Citrons which is held for two weeks in February every year. The Fete du Citrons features sculptures and decorative floats made from lemons with the floats processing their way along the Menton seafront.
Menton is also famous for it's wonderful gardens and these include the Serre de la Madone, the Le Val Rahmeh, the Fontana Rosa, and the Maria Serena gardens.
The old town and port are located between the Baie de Garavan and the Baie du Soleil. In close proximity to the port are the Musée Jean Cocteau and the Basilique St-Michel Archange which are both well worth visiting.
The villages of Ste-Agnes, Castellar, Castilon and Gorbio are all within a short drive of Menton and offer excellent property opportunities and property investments as well as tourism attractions.
The area around Menton should be on your list of Cote d'Azur property locations and at FrenchEntrée we will be happy to help you find your Menton Property.
