Situated in the north of the Tarn departement, the Gaillac Appellation area covers 2.500 hectares spread over 73 communes, for an AOC production of over 165.000 hectolitres. The Albi circuit has 80 years of experience in organising motor-racing events, and its Grand Prix has been running for nearly as long. Racing amateurs and the rich and famous will come in their droves in September for the Grand Prix which is the main event of the year. For the 80th anniversary of the association, this will be a very festive race with the return of many stars.
Anyone who lives in the Tarn knows that this is rugby country. Whether you're a league or union fan, you'll find useful links and information here about local and international World Cup fixtures too. 
Castres Olympique the only Tarn rugby union club currently competing in the top level of the French league system (TOP 14). They play at the Stade Pierre-Antoine (capacity 9,423)in Castres and wear blue and white. The 2008/2009 season see some exciting fixtures including European Heinken Cup games against Edinburgh, Leinster and London Wasps.

Gaillac is a town and commune in the département of Tarn, in the south of France, some 50km north-east of Toulouse. It is a millennium city in an area that has produced wine since Roman times. It is a market town and is the commercial centre of the north-west of Tarn. There are many events throughout the year.
