The cyclists will arrive in the Tarn at Port de la Besse and cycle towards Mirandol before climbing the hill of Sainte-Cecile. At this point they will pass through Carmaux via the RN88, Bois-Redon and towards Blaye-les-Mines and turn right at Hyper U supermarket towards Villeneuve-sur-Vere, Gaillac, Rabastens and Toulouse. Jean-Michel Monin says(Olympic track cycling champion, 8 Tours de France as an organizer) "This connecting stage to the Pyrenees has no major difficulties. Some riders will use this stage to recover from the Massif Central stages, but others might try hard to seize a last chance at a stage win before the mountains.
