The Pink Garlic Festival in Lautrec takes place every year on the first Friday of August.Famous for their pink garlic, Lautrec, located in the Tarn, hosts this aromatic annual event.

Situated in the north of the Tarn departement, the Gaillac Appellation area covers 2.500 hectares spread over 73 communes, for an AOC production of over 165.000 hectolitres. The vineyard of Gaillac was one of the first growing centres in Gaul.There are many events throughout the year or you can just visit a vineyard at anytime..jpg)
The Albi circuit has 80 years of experience in organising motor-racing events, and its Grand Prix has been running for nearly as long. Racing amateurs and the rich and famous will come in their droves in September for the Grand Prix which is the main event of the year. For the 80th anniversary of the association, this will be a very festive race with the return of many stars..GIF)
During 2008 the Tour de France will pass through the Tarn on 12 July 2008 during Stage 8 between Figeac and Toulouse. The cyclists will arrive in the Tarn at Port de la Besse and and cycle towards Mirandol and pass via Blaye-les-Mines, Carmaux, Villeneuve-sur-Vere, Gaillac, Rabastens.

Gaillac is a town and commune in the département of Tarn, in the south of France, some 50km north-east of Toulouse. It is a millennium city in an area that has produced wine since Roman times.
