Founded in 2007, Maison Victoire is the leading independent international estate agency in the Vaucluse. As a straight-talking, responsive, bilingual team of real estate professionals, we really know our stuff.
We bridge the French/international gap by offering global advertising, social media, and well-targeted software, using modern marketing tools like:
- floor plans
- virtual tours
- drone photography.
So if you would like to buy or sell a riverside apartment, a stone village house, a Provençal mas, or even a château, we can definitely help you. We have an incredibly good sales record with a high ratio of sales to viewings, thanks to careful property matching and listening to our buyers.
We like to be transparent, efficient, organised and helpful, and our clients say we are.
Victoria, BA (Hons) Estate Management (the degree of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) is the owner and holder of the carte professionnelle (French real estate license).
Victoria arrived in L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue in 2006, thanks to her antique dealer father’s discovery of the famous market town, and set to work building the now thriving ‘Maison Victoire’. All these years later, she has a great team behind her, leaving her time to negotiate sales at the luxury end of the market, undertake valuations, grow the business, and even have a little bit of time to enjoy the Luberon countryside.
From Perthshire in Scotland, Victoria previously managed the luxury ski company, Le Chardon Mountain Lodges in Val d’Isère, and prior to that, the Scottish Antique and Arts Centre in Doune, Perthshire. With a keen eye for property and interiors, skill in negotiation, and a passion for Provence, Victoria, with the help of her associates, provides expert representation for both buyers and sellers.
Since 2016, Stewart has been an indispensable member of the team at Maison Victoire. He has an exceptional ability to tailor properties to buyers and has a great sales record! He is also Listings Manager, and it was he who initiated the new floor plan software, ensuring there is a plan for every property we sell – the only agency in the area to do so.
Prior to his career change into the world of ‘immobilier’, Stewart was a Gault Millaut chef and restaurant owner. He has a good practical understanding of property, having renovated his 16th century house in Saumane-de-Vaucluse, and his passion for mountain biking means that he knows the local villages and countryside like the back of his hand.
Having lived between the UK and France all of her life, Jane works with the team part-time, helping with administration and book-keeping. She started this career in the Alps then turned her attention to becoming a chef for the last ten years. She continues to work as a chef during the busy summer season, whilst also raising her son Henri.
Ian grew up on a dairy farm in Hampshire in England. After studying business in Brighton, he worked for several years in Switzerland and Paris before returning to London where he was Contracts Manager for Mark Warner Travel. Prior to emigrating to Sydney, Australia in 1989, he spent two years selling property in Spain and the Canary Islands to British and international buyers.
27 years later, after a long career in Sydney as an estate agent – and bringing up two lovely daughters – Ian fulfilled his dream of coming to work in Provence by joining the dynamic team at Maison Victoire in early 2017. As well as speaking fluent French, passable German and some Spanish, clients benefit from his length of industry experience, friendly disposition and find him reassuringly honest and reliable.
Now with 3 years’ experience, Tati, a typical Rhodesian Ridgeback, welcomes clients with an air of disinterested superiority, then retires to languish on her sofa.
Initially employed, unsuccessfully, to handle security, Tati has now moved to this more sedentary role.
