Would it also be worth specifying whether the setup has been done by a professional or not? That way we may be able to gauge whether it’s worth calling out a professional for fine tuning, etc?

FWIW, OH did our set up but would be interested to know if a sat guy could do better :?:

Why are people losing HD channels ? The HD channels are unchanged.

Unfotunately for some, this is not the case.
The transponder which carries BBC1HD, BBC2HD, BBC3HD and CBBC HD (10847 V 23000) has just moved last night to the new sat 2E and the signal level has definitely dropped overnight outside of the UK.
BBC1 HD Scotland and Wales, BBC4 HD and Cbeebies HD on 11024 H 23000) had already moved to 2F sat a while back.

The BBC1&2HD channels switched last night as well. It’s called the edge of the cliff. If you are on the limit, HD will go first – blank – gone. Answer for me is a bigger dish. For HD channels I won’t bother, I can get them over the internet anyway.
