    Chris – Grande Sauterelle verte,

    I know very little about these but can assure you they are extremely difficult to disentangle from a fluffy mohair jumper, especially when the wearer keeps shrieking “Get it off!””It’s a locust””They are poisonous………”

    I was torn between agreeing, and telling her to take off the pullover and jump on it :shock::oops::shock: and trying to preserve a splendid insect.
    :lol::lol::lol:

    These are best avoided as its one of the few crickets that can give a painful bite

    That’s the one Steve, Scarlet Darter – La Libellule écarlate, more usual down your way I think and as far as I know it was a bloke.

    Such an amazing tone of red, remarkably it landed on the track in front of me, which was good, but I couldn’t choose the background which wasn’t so good – but that’s nature. :wink:

    Mines an old Nikon Coolpix 4800 which is about to be updated. A large part of the photos on PlanetePassion have been taken with this camera.

    I suspect that Steve has something better.
