I live in Europe and not the UK and so would vote to remain in the EU if I were entitled to a vote. My more immediate concerns lie within France itself as this is where my income comes from and not the UK and how things are carried out here which could affect me and my family. I think anyone who lives here permanently must vote to stay in as it may affect their future situation especially if they are UK pension dependent.

Anyone who is not income dependent on the UK probably will vote out.

That is your problem. People will vote according to their own personal circumstances.

We’re hardly the most objective group of people to poll on the subject, are we?

    I have voted to leave.
I think that the EU will be a better place to live without the United Kingdom.
I think that the UK will be a better place outside the EU.
    A rare synergy.

Not at all but the question was asked on another thread.

You say that but I know a few Brits living here that think it would be in the UK’s interest to leave. So far 20% of people have voted out which is much higher than you would have expected.

    Hi,

I don’t see of what value this poll is ; most of the respondents will be french resident to some degree , and so most likely to vote “in”.

I will vote to stay but I really do think that a norrow stay result would not be good. I do not think it will resolve the issue once snd for all and Farage and co will just keep coming back which would mean the UK spends more time arguing over Europe than getting on with the job of sorting out the economy and public services.

An out vote will put the Eurosceptics very much on the spot and they will be faced with the reality of negotiating deals with the EU and the rest of the world that gives the UK something better than exists already. That wil not be easy and can see public opinion in the UK turning against them very quickly once the consequences of leaving become reality.

Whatever Cameron says about out meaning out might not be entirely true should public opinion become so much in favour of a return to the EU. Any renegotiation would though put the UK in sn even worse negotiating position than it is now and the concessions Cameron has achieved would probably not be on offer again.

Don’t worry. It’s not binding. Someone did ask the question, so what better way to find the answer.
