When Ireland voted to reject the Lisbon Treaty in 2008…….and…. The EU commission decided second time round they would get the result out of Ireland’s voters they wanted…. They spent one and a half million euros on advertising to make sure people got the message they wanted them to get.

I imagine in some dark corridor in Brussels some pen pusher is counting out a bigger sum today to push their message out and keep the UK voter and his tax contribution well and truly in .

The numbers suggest that many have joined  with David Cameron the Craven  Dupes of the EU brigade.

A published position with all arguments….. ( Probably has double nationality )

I’m French, but I’ve lost my patience with the EU. I’ll be voting Leave

Me too. If Britain leaves then I think people will find that they are in a situation that they can moan about with some real grounds.

There will be a few fancying a change if there was a leave vote. The problem would be that there would then be no change option.

The way things are going at the moment with the expenditure on barbed wire and chain link…. Along with leaders of member states at each others throats about who is sticking the current migrant situation to who. Along with the dire financial situation with European banks that is just under the surface simmering Brexit could become a side show for Brussels in the next few months . Greece is about to becomes a holding center for hundreds of thousands of trapped people . It ain’t looking good for European Unity to survive which ever direction you look at it from today . I bet there are many in EU states who will say they have more to worry about than if the UK stay in or not….

George Osborne has discovered the UK economy isn’t quite what he said it should be so more cuts on the way. No tax increases though.

What dire financial state are European banks in?

Are you a Daily Mail hack on the side

Is the Economist acceptable? Italy’s incidence of non-performing loans at about 18% is outbid only by Cyprus at 40 odd%. But Italy is a major economy and I suspect that the next round of fun will start there. Soonish.

If the UK votes to leave the EU and Scotland wants to remain in the EU, is there a chance of Sotland  separating  from England??

    One can only hope.

Only if there’s a massive earthquake along the border.
