Fribourg, Bienne are a bit ‘special’ – never lived in a bilingual town-

what are you doing there? Must be in Swiss secret service, or the Swiss navy-

How are the girls behaving at the VD8?

Doing well thanks, in Vaud between Geneva and Lausanne, although nearer to Lausanne.

How about you? Whereabouts are you?

Anyone going to the British Classic Car meet next weekend?

was born in a little known place called Fleurier, in the Jura mountains near Neuchatel. Now in East Leics until house sold – we have bought a very old Neuchatel farmhouse on the Swiss/French border, near Pontarlier.

My first ever English flame (I was about 12!), from Broadstais, lives in St Gorges sur Nyon and works for WWF in Gland.

    What are you doing there?

Parking will be a bit of a nightmare on the day, I’d suggest going to a local village on the train line, and taking the rest of the trip by public transport. Unless of course you’re an early riser and can get down to the car park sharp, then you may have a chance.
