https://www.theguardian.com/world/2017/nov/25/eu-anti-propaganda-unit-gets-1m-a-year-to-counter-russian-fake-news

No great surprise that in a parliament with 226 signed on supporters of Soros Neo-Liberalism that Tusk would be willing to subsidise propaganda in an attempt to counter the truth expressed in Russian Federation news channels.
From your Guardian link I quote.
“EU officials supported the violence in Catalonia” A fact, the truth, maybe unconfortable for the EU Commission, Council and Parliament. But the truth nevertheless.
Looks like I shall have to work harder in the future to remain objective and not be indoctrinated by EU propaganda.

they hate us because of our values

I have read the Guardian article TWICE and can not find any reference to EU officials supported the violence.
Are really Russian and your job is to make fake news.

Tusk referred to Theresa May’s recent speech, where the prime minister accused Russia of meddling in elections and planting fake stories in the media in an attempt to “weaponise information” and sow discord in the west.

In the 4th para of your opening link, there is a supporting link, also to the Guardian containing the declaration of the Moldovan gentleman.

Taken from a yahoo member who like GY knows we will be better without them :good:

Come on TM take your head out of Junkers backside for a minute hit them where it hurts them in the pocket Walk away now, declare we are now out and stop all payments, the final kick in the nuts would be to lower taxes in the UK and confirm their worst fear, they will come knocking if not begging within 6 months

Mysty2, I am not sure what your point is, forgive me.
Is the above quote an expression of your views?

Well the truth of the matter is.
If Britain walks away from talks the following will happen.

1) Britain leaves the EU March 2019 with no transition time.
2) Any company planning to move operations out of Britain will immediately put those plans in to effect.
3) EU27 Citizens working in the U.K. Will also prepare to leave
4) Britain will still have to pay the net contribution until Marc 2019
5) MOST IMPORTANT. Britain will still owe a financial settlement that the EU will chase Britain through the courts for.
6) The hundred and hundred of other issues will be left un addressed. British civil servants believe there are 380 issues
7) There will not be a trade agreement between Britain and the EU 27
8) Britain will take back control of its Borders in March 2019.

I am sure others could add to the list.
Etc, etc, etc.

I guess it’s time now for me to ignore you for a while.

Sadly, that seems to be a thing on here now. symptomatic of dealing with quitlings and any others with strong but irational ideological or religious believes, there is simply no reasoning with them. What’s scary is that the Brexit referendum used the ignorance of millions, some of it well meaning, to advance the lunacy of a very small number of anti EU zealots, I wouldn’t be surprised if the true number of real quitlings (i.e. those that are not simply racists or xenophobes and understand what their end game is) to be only a 5 figure number yet effectively they have, admittedly very cleverly, managed to stage an as yet bloodless coup.

It’s the young people that will suffer for this, yet much of the UK youth have had it so easy for so long they don’t realise how thin the veneer of easy modern civilised life is, they have a shock coming, if the quitling zealots manage to achieve their goal of turning the UK into a sweat shop and tax free haven for the mega rich.

I agree, however I believe remainers have to stay focused and continue to point out the errors of quitters and quittlings.
We have to challenge lies and point out the facts. Opinions of course are not lies but we must also challenge those opinions.

I apologise that in the post I mistakenly quoted the embedded link in the 4th paragraph by mistake. The link in the 4th paragraph navigates to statements by Msy on her visit this week to her friends on the continent.
No mention of Cataluña.
I will post later with reference to the correct paragraph.
.
P. S. apparently you have introduced the term Quitling and in return I have adopted the term Quisling for remainers. Whilst there is no doubtas to the spelling of that Norwegian PMs surname. The use of double tt is not correct the word Quitling derives from the verb to quit, one t is sufficient.
Thank you.

Seems that even if citizens rights and the money are sorted out in the next week or so that the Ireland issue will not be unless the UK accepts the reality of the DUP not accepting different arrangements from the rUK or the Irish Government not accepting anything that reinstates a hard border. There seems no solution that meets the needs of both unless the UK accepts it will remain in the customs union and probably the single market too.

http://www.bbc.com/news/uk-politics-42126687

Surely the time is fast approaching when the more sensible UK politicians will have to join forces and tell people that the choices are either to go ahead with a hard Brexit that will cause enormous damage to living standards and reopen old wounds in Ireland or accept a version of Brexit that is EU membership in all but name only.

Now to Quittling or Quittlings. Firstly It ha been pointed out to me that giving a capital Q To quitters and quittlings gives too much weight to the people who are quitters and quittlings.
So from now on no capital Q but always quitters and quittlings.

Let’s move to
Quisling (/ˈkwɪzlɪŋ/; Norwegian pronunciation: [²kvisliŋ]) is a term originating from Norway, which is used in Scandinavian languages and in English for a person who collaborates with an enemy occupying force – or more generally as a synonym for traitor.[1][2][3] The word originates from the surname of the Norwegian war-time leader Vidkun Quisling, who headed a domestic Nazi collaborationist regime during World War II.

Very surprised but their is talk that the EU are prepared to except a transition period a little LEDs that two years to end December 2020.
As would be normal if you are granted an extension of membership you still have to play by the rules.
Shock horror the Independent have just woken up!
If you extend your membership of a tennis club you don’t start playing with square balls. You have to keep to the rules.
