I’m wondering how hire companies check for endorsements on other European licences.

Or do they just pick on Brits  ?

Due to different driving laws across europe, endorsements are only valid in the country that issued the licence.

    They can’t therefore they don’t.

The European model photocard is a step in that direction but when, or even if, the system actually becomes joined up so that such things can be interrogated across the EU is anybody’s guess but probably won’t happen during the lifetime of anybody reading this today !

The smilies are huge because of the poorly written crap site software which nobody at FE gives a to55 about !

😀😮 Why does this forum have such ridiculously huge smileys?

   😀😮😯😕😀😮

    I know they’re horrible aren’t they.

They appeared after the new devs had run an update a little while ago – I asked at the time for them to be put back to what they were like before.

I asked again yesterday and was told they’d look into it – but I’m not holding my breath.

Apologies especially to those using mobiles to access the forum.

    Kind regards
    Charlotte

Off topic I know but what size you get seems to be random.

The “new” devs? Sorry I couldn’t underline that.

Does this mean we are now benefitting from a new and improved website development team for the (now not so) new and improved user experience?

No, after waiting for how long has it been for the promised changes to be made all I have seen is the émoticons have become either too small to understand or stupidly large and conveying little or no emotion, perhaps that is a prerequisite of the job?
