Making lots and lots of cups of tea for Fred,

Fred is very busy building a new extension to the house, I’m meant to be labouring but I keep getting distracted, just potting up all the hanging baskets.   He seems to be coping very well.

Its a beautiful day here I have to say – summer is well on its way I hope

Up early and over to Oh’s. Trip to Ikea. Transferred old Tomtom to his name. Been to see elderly friend.

Been for a lovely long walk in freezing sunshine – best part of day. Prepping stuff for new bedroom. Friend coming for lunch. Bit of sorting out in garden sheds.

Sofa moved into lounge. 4 loads of washing done and dried. OH brought over 2.5m table that he bought me years ago. Top needs sanding and once treated it’ll be put at the end of the kitchen and the other sofa and chairs from there will be moved into lounge. Just need to go to OH’s and pick some nice kitchen chairs. Like it when a plan comes together :yahoo:

Not too sure that you have anything to worry about .. unless you have suddenly changed your alliance to Labour!

We were meant to be showing a house today near Clermont, they cancelled last night worried that they might not be able to live here after Brexit. Instead of being away for a couple of nights we will just be doing the one night at Aurilliac to buy a house tomorrow, no fecin buyers but we are still committed to buying what we agreed to.

I discovered just the right thing to do on yet another very hot day. I emptied the chest freezer, bent over and put my head inside and chipped off the ice with a wallpaper scraper …. Bliss! The coolest place to be! Everything back inside now in under an hour and the freezer is ready for the lamb which arrives on Friday. If it’s hot again tomorrow, I might just have to do it all again ………..

Sort of agreed a sale today just waiting for some questions  to arrive by email. They viewed on Saturday offered 10.000 under the asking price and pushed them up to 2500 under the asking price. Will be very happy if it goes through. They live in Britain, but are not British, looking to relocate. TM might just be right and there will be opportunities out there after brexit

Posting clap on here, she is doing something to her feet and just got an email agreeing a sale so we can buy a Christmas tree this year rather than cutting one down. Spotted a nice one in the Creuse as well.
