NOT going into town to meet someone for coffee! Maybe next week?;-) So will get on with making curtains which I cut out yesterday. And maybe, just maybe, my car – which I crashed a month ago – will be repaired and ready to collect… Who knows? each time I phone they tell me ‘a few more days’. And making soup au potiron.

She is answering work emails, as apparently my commas and dots are sometimes in the wrong places. Me I am working on jokes for the joke section.

Sitting on the terrace of my rented studio in Albufeira after a brisk walk round the quite hilly town.

Can’t see what I’m typing because of the FEBanner that covers it, which won’t go away. Am now ready for a cuppa and a nap….

Cleaned and filled the bird feeders and had the first go at the garden this year. Spring is in the air. Which here of course means wind and rain.

Started tidying up the garden – will take a couple of weeks to clear up all the weeds. I think we’ve lost a few plants this year as it’s been so dry this winter. OH suggests the slash, feed and keep your fingers crossed tactic when I mentioned buying some plants!

The sea looked lovely in Cyprus, no sea sun and sex.  After I clicked terms and conditions the sea disappeared on the screen and it was, welcome to Ibis budget Thiers    not the ideal winter holiday destination but it was only for one night. ( that’s this years winter holiday over) we saw some nice houses made an offer on one. Its so exciting house hunting. We are going back on the 12th of April not because we liked the region but I booked the room though one of these easy to use sites and although I clicked the fecin dates I wanted I clicked promo which knocked 20 euros off the price but changed the fecin date and at that price it non refundable.   normally she books things.
