    Thanks to the Autoroutes and the use of GPS it is now possible to travel the length and breadth of France without seeing anything or speaking to anyone. Inspired by Charles Kuralt

    Sorry I cut it short! Stopped it in its tracks, you might say…

    I used to see it fairly regularly. It’s visible from the (normal) Paris-Orléans railway line and also from the N20. My (French) husband pointed it out to me a long time ago and explained what it was.
