Numerous opportunities exist to exploit the facilities this property affords. Pelota is a sport with deep roots in the south-west of France attracting both players and spectators in abundance. The courts, which are up to the current regulations of the governing body, and facilities such as changing rooms and showers, will allow organisation of tournaments. Both the competitors and spectators will be welcomed at your cafe-restaurant equipped with a licence IV and kitchen.
Typical of the region and with two large changing rooms allowing several teams to organise tournaments, spectators can watch games via the large, secure windows from the cafe-restaurant where they can enjoy meals and the friendly atmosphere. The courts are made with Arudy marble (a local and renowned quarry) for the walls and Spanish marble for the floor.
The four-walled trinquet court allows the sport of pelota to be played, a game of Basque origins, much appreciated and played in the region. There are several types of pelota which exist; using the bare palm of your hand to return the ball, a leather pad covering the palm or by using a long curved basket to catch and return the ball at great speed. The court has an opposing wall, like an open, 'fronton' court, against which the ball is hit, plus a wall to the right, left and rear. This entire marble court measures 27.5x10.6m.
This squash court measures 9.6x10.4m and has clear walls allowing spectators. The floor is wooden, whilst the sliding doors will allow cool air to enter.
Changing rooms, showers and toilets (including disables access) are at the disposal of your clients.
This will allow competitors and spectators alike to rehydrate and refuel after and before matches. Measuring 100m², it can accommodate all your clients for drinks served from the licence IV bar (allowing sale of all alcoholic drinks) and food served from the 11.5m² kitchen.
A private living area offers 2 bedrooms of 10m² each as well as a 4m² shower with toilet.
