Situated in the village of Moulismes which is precisely half way between the airports of Poitiers and Limoges with only around a 45 minute drive, door to door to each – this is a cottage with all the basics in working order, but a lot of ‘your taste’ type changes to make over the first few years.

Into the house we enter a basic kitchen of around 16m² with a wood burner, and a small room to the rear of 8m². To the right we have a sitting room of about 14m² with wood burning insert and an excellent shower room to the rear.

Each of the rear rooms have stairs which lead up into the attic space, this will make two bedrooms, there are plenty of windows already, though a couple of velux would be an improvement. The walls which split up the areas downstairs are all stud walls, so, how this space is used will be entirely up to you, but, upstairs there is a rather large beam going across the attic so this splits into two bedrooms and the individual stairs are a requirement, really.

A small garden area to the front is perfect if you just want to sit out in the sun for a bit, but, across the road there is a large garden of around 400m² with lots of fruit trees and plenty of space for a veggie plot as well as a gorgeous lazy area for your BBQ meets! I love this, but, the new owner will have a few decisions to make, but no rush for the work!

Moulismes is on the main road, but the cottage is well away from it, BUT, the best thing is you have a choice of restaurants and a big fishing lake with childrens' play area!
