This pretty, energy-efficient house is built with ecological materials - a Douglas Fir frame with walls constructed from a straw and earth mixture, finished with a lime render (30 cm inertia wall), and features many other eco features.

It welcomes you on the ground floor into its living room which offers a dining area and fitted kitchen, including a wood-fired cooker, perfect for heating in winter and cooking. There is also a bathroom featuring a dry composting toilet and a cellar/storage area semi-buried in the rock, ideal for keeping cool.

On the first floor there is a bedroom and a mezzanine which can be used as an office or for extra sleeping space.

There is also an independent studio of 15m2 with a kitchenette, shower, composting toilet and a small mezzanine for sleeping.

The property has solar panels and a wind turbine which means the property is completely off-grid for electricity.

The property is fully fenced, under video surveillance and offers a magnificent view of the Château and the Valley.
