Anyone who knows this section of the River will recognise the house; it marks your arrival to the very popular medieval town of Beaulieu sur Dordogne and enjoys one of the best views of the river in the area.

The front of the cottage has a lovely covered seating area where you can enjoy the comings and goings along the river as well as the otters and coypu which live in the very clean water. The property does not have a history of flooding and sits several metres above the river.

Beaulieu Sur Dordogne itself is a popular town, previously something of a hidden gem. The centre of the town is a medieval treasure with year round restaurants, cafes and independent shops. Built on a particularly attractive section of the river, Beaulieu is popular with visitors through out the summer when the whole area comes alive. On the borders of crossroads of three departments - the Correze, the Lot and the Dordogne, access to travel routes is good with the motorway and three airports all within good travelling distance.
