Our French House

A much loved 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom, spacious longhouse with outbuildings in a secluded, sunny valley with far reaching countryside views. We have retained the charm of a rural farmhouse but incorporated underfloor heating in the bathrooms, with a contemporary bath and shower, and central heating in the house. There is a large open fireplace in the kitchen and a woodburning stove in the sitting room. Outside there are terraces, a vegetable plot, and lots of grass to run around on.

The house is in a quiet valley but close enough to cycle for croissants and provisions from the village shop. Just an hour from the tunnel at calais, we are within easy driving distance of miles of sandy beaches, market towns, the bird sanctuary, Agincourtand LouvreLens.We have spent 20 happy years of holidays there with our family and friends but it is now time to move on.

A village house with outbuildings in the hamlet of Toutendahl, near Allette (with a bakery and provisions). We are just one hours drive from the tunnel at calais with easy access from the UK.

Far reaching country views, the house is in a secluded, sunny valley. The garden is mainly lawn and hedges - easy to maintain. There is plenty of space for games in the summer and sledging in the winter. We are within 20 minutes drive of the market town of Montreuil sur mer and 30 mins of the beaches and restaurants of le Touquet and Hardelot.
