Born from one of the numerous collaborations between Louis Bachoud and Paolo Santini, Architect and desinger Artiste of 70's, this estate was built as the florishing founding representation the Sweedish company in France et and South Vendée.
Built in the heart of Fontenay-le-Comte, city of Art and History where architecture mixes Renaissances Villas and Medieval alleys, this rue representative the the 70's current with a habitable spces of approximately 255 sqm set on a 1750 sqm wooded plot.
It is a tribute to the "Le Corbusier" style. This villa offers strength and softness thanks to the pure lines and curves of the rooftop terraces.
Outside, concrete staircases, metallic railings, white stilts are just a portrait of the designers' work.
Inside, travetine, oak wood floors and the omnipresence of light thanks to the numerous headband windows are all harmonious to give this peace haven on the side of a valley overlooking the Vendée river and offering a clear and panoramic view of the countryside and the old centre.
The large fitted and equipped kitchen, adorned with real cement tiles unearthed in Morocco by the owners, opens onto a two-level living room where an imposing and unique copper-clad fireplace stands facing the living room. Mixture of strength and softness, large bay windows allow access to outdoor spaces composed of courtyards and landscaped terraces where the agapanthus and the view provide a feeling of tranquility and serenity not far from the Mervent Forest.
The sleeping area, accessible by taking a magnificent travertine spiral staircase, is on the lower level. It consists of a first suite with bathroom and dressing room and a second suite in the vintage style of the 70s.
Two additional "seventies" suites of origins and perfectly preserved bear witness to the era while corresponding to current decorative trends.
Finally, the last level hosts a magnificent artist's studio and its passageway mixing with the trees of the garden, an office, a laundry room and a cellar as well as a space currently dedicated to sport.
A large garage accessible just like the entrance by a footbridge completes the set.
