Welcome to the Gardening Section

For all those wanting to learn more about their gardens

gaillardia single flowerMy hope is to share with you things I've learnt over the years, which I wish I'd known back then. I will be covering a whole range of subjects, including information on plants, planting, plant care, seasonal jobs in the garden, weeds, pests and diseases and, growing vegetables and herbs. I will also be providing you with information on garden and plant events in Brittany and will keep you posted on new gardens to visit as well.

Gardening as far as I'm concerned is a constant learning process - you never stop discovering new things, new ideas, new plants and different ways to make your garden a more pleasant space to spend time in. The way you choose to use your garden can change over time as different needs change. Please do write in with things you would like to know more about and I'll do my best to share this with all of you - this is your site too - so use it as a place that we can all discover new things and learn together.
