You have the use of the garden throughout your stay. The attractive shady garden has mountain views. Garden furniture and a bbq are available for your use.

Special features
Once an animal stable and hayloft, La Dépendance is a small but perfectly formed property. It has been entirely renovated throughout 2007.

There is private parking for two cars available.

Two mountain bikes are available for daily hire.

Shorter stays available, and reduced rates for those staying alone.

Local activities
There is plenty to do here whatever the season.

In winter you don't have to go far to find plenty of snow! The ski resorts of the Crozet-Lelex in the Monts-Jura are just 15 minutes away, La Col De La Faucille around a 25 minute drive, and the French Alps can be accessed in about an hour.

In summer the area is a delight for ramblers and nature lovers - the Regional Park being a haven for wildlife. Discover local quaint villages, the forests, the alpine meadows of the Jura, the local vineyards.

Explore the historic site of Fort L'Ecluse, dating back to the 13th century - accessible by car or by hiking from La Dépendance.

Photographers and artists will find plenty to inspire them - both in the typically French village where houses date back to the 18th century, and in the stunning alpine environments.

On the edge of the forest and on the edge of the village of Collonges Fort L'Ecluse, just minutes from the Haut-Jura Regional Park, this property is ideally placed for people who love the outdoors. Hike into the forest, explore the mountainous region or the historic site of Fort L'Ecluse. The village has a bar, bakery, general store, butchers, tourist information office and post office.

The beautiful historic city of Geneva is just half an hour away.

The living area is small but full of character, with exposed beams and views over the mountains and garden. A TV and dvd player are provided for cozy nights in and a sofa bed is available for extra guests.

There is one large bright double room. You'll find plenty of storage space for clothes.
