External facilities
L’Ecole Ancienne is situated between the cottage owners' beautifully restored farmhouse and 10 acres of privately-owned woodlands. There is a creek below the cottage that provides the tranquil sound of flowing water. The property also has several ancient footpaths among the birch and oak trees, ferns and 100-year old chestnut trees. Shared plunge pool with large deck for sunbathing with forest views. Private cottage terrace has bistro table, umbrella, Weber BBQ with forest and meadow views.
